The goal of “CrossWords Language Hacks – Intro to Turkish Verbs Part 2: Negative and Interrogative Constructions” is to build on what you should have learned in Part 1, which focused on Affirmative Constructions. The goal is to build Turkish students’ confidence in forming negative and interrogative constructions in the following tenses: present simple, present continuous, simple past, past continuous, simple future, and future continuous. I chose these concepts because I have confidence that beginners can master them with a not overwhelming amount of effort. After almost two decades of language study (supervised and independent), I have found that having a command of a few verb tenses can provide a novice language learner a crucial confidence boost that can keep them going on the journey to becoming a polyglot.
